However, this poster in Kelaniya seems to say it all - nothing has happened, Mervyn Silva is highly connected, and guesses are that his “friend from Ruhuna’’ — as touted in the advertisement here —- will not lift a finger against him.It is known that Mervyn Silva helped secure the crossover of UNP’s Mahinda Rathnatilleke, negotiated with Arjuna Ranatunge not to crossover, and spearheaded the disruption of the Nugegoda anti war rally etc., All of this means President Mahinda Rajapaksa cannot abandon the notorious Mr Silva, because of what he owes him.....
