Eight terrorists killed & 16 injured in confrontations

 
Eight terrorists were killed and 16 were injured in confrontations with the Army on Thursday (07) in MANNAR, VAVUNIYA & WELIOYA .

Two terrorists were killed between 8.00 and 9.00 in the morning in the SRIKULAM area while another was killed in the NADUNKANDAL area, MANNAR at 3.15 in the afternoon.

Three terrorists were killed in the VAVUNIYA area. One was killed in a confrontation at KALLIKULAM while two terrorists were killed at 5.00 in the evening during a confrontation in the ANDANKULAM area, one of whom has been identified as ILLIYAVAN.

Two terrorists were also reported killed and ten (10) were injured in a confrontation in the JANAKAPURA area, WELIOYA at 11.00 am . One soldier was killed and another was injured in the incident.
