Government pays compensation for families of the bombs victims

Paying of compensation to the families of the persons who were killed and wounded in the yesterday’s bus blast in Welioya took place at the Padaviya hospital this morning.
Rehabilitation authority of the disaster relief services ministry provided funds for the payment of this compensation.
Minister Tissa Karaliyadde and chief minister of the north central province Berty Premalal Dissanayake participated in the event.
Meanwhile, the death toll of the bomb blast has increased to 14. Fourteen injured persons are receiving treatment at the Anuradhapura hospital.
