LTTE terrorists fire mortars at Sampathnuwara hospital; three injured - Welioya

 

LTTE terrorists have fired mortars targeting the Sampathnuwara hospital this afternoon (February 8), defence sources said.

Two civilians and a female Homeguard have suffered injuries when few mortar rounds fell close to the hospital and the "Mahaweli office" around 12.45.p.m, the sources said.

The injured have been transferred to Padaviya hospital.
