Police Kill Two LTTE Terrorists Who Tried to Ambush Them

LTTE terrorists hiding on the VAVUNIYA-MANNAR Rd, in the Nelukulam Sambalthotam area tried to ambush a group of police personnel on duty at 10.15a.m.
Police officers fired back killing one LTTE terrorist, while the other accompanying LTTE terrorist fled and hid himself in a near by house, when police officers assisted by STF Personnel approached the hide out to arrest the terrorist he hurled around fifteen hand grenades at security personnel.
