Sarath for experts panel

MADURAI: The Government should form a committee of experts to find a solution to the prevailing ethnic crisis in Sri Lanka, said Sarath Kumar, the founder of Akila Indhiya Samthuva Makkal Katchi (AISMK).

Sarath Kumar, who was here on Thursday to examine the preparatory work for the party's first state level conference, told reporters that Sinhala-Tamil conflict in Sri Lanka had caused several problems in Tamil Nadu, so it is imperative for the Government to play a pivotal role in finding peace in the island nation.

"In this regard, I have already written a letter to Chief Minister M Karunanidhi", the AISMK leader added.
