Security forces launched an attack on a group of LTTE carders

The army media spokesman further says the security forces have launched an attack on a group of LTTE carders traveling at Madhu road junction around 12.20 last night. In a subsequent search operation two T 56 weapons, a gun with a silencer and 8 claymore bombs.


He added that 8 LTTE bunkers were completely destroyed in an attack carried out by the troops in Muhamalai in Jaffna around 4’0 clock this morning. Five LTTE members were killed in the incident.
