Tiger terrorists have suffered heavy damage

The media centre for national security says Tiger terrorists have suffered heavy damage in gun battle that ensued with the advancing troops in the general area of Periyapatrichurichchan. Tigers were compelled to withdraw from the area with heavy casualties.
The media centre said fifteen terrorists were killed in the incident. Three soldiers were also killed. The media centre said three Tiger terrorists fell dead when troops confronted terrorist groups at Kovilmode and Navatkulam in Wanni.
Three similar incidents occurred at Mullikulam yesterday killing six more terrorists. An attack was launched by the troops on a group of LTTE terrorists constructing a bunker line in the general area of Muhamale. Five Tiger terrorists were killed in the attack.
