7.3magnitude quake hits China

A 7.3-magnitude quake hit China this morning, about 140 miles southeast of the city of Hotan in the predominantly Muslim region of Xinjiang, in the southwest of China. The initial quake had been followed by two aftershocks with magnitudes 5.1 and 5.2 each.
