9 terrorists killed in confrontations in Vavuniya

Seven LTTE terrorists were killed in confrontations with the Army on Thursday (06) in the areas of KALLIKULAM, PERIYAPANDIVIRICHCHAN, and MUNDIMURIPPU in VAVUNIYA. A soldier was also wounded in the confrontations. Meanwhile Troops have confirmed that twelve (12) terrorists were killed in confrontations with the Security Forces on Thursday (06) in PARAPPAKANDAL area, MANNAR while three (03) soldiers were reported injured in the ADAMPAN area.
