Anusha Palpita-New Chairman for State Radio

Senior Administrative Officer Anusha Palpita has commenced duties as the acting chairman of the Corporation this morning. He will continue to function as the Director of the Department of Government Information in addition to commitments at the SLBC.
The new chairman addressing employees said correct administrative decisions will be taken to carry forward activities of the Corporation on a proper path.
Secretary to the Ministry of Information and Media A. Dissanayake at a meeting of the Directorate of the Corporation, following assumption of duties said the new Chairman is entrusted with the enormous challenge of resuscitating the SLBC from its present financial crisis. He added it is also the responsibility of the entire staff at the SLBC to move this institution more closer to the listener.
