Application on postal votes for EP will end on Saturday

 

Commissioner of Elections Dayananda Dissanayake says period granted for application for postal voting in the Eastern Provincial Council Election ends on next Saturday.
The application forms should be forwarded to the selecting officials of the relevant districts through certifying officials.
The Electoral Lists for the year 2006 will be used for voting. The voters’ lists could be examined at the District Election Offices in the Eastern Province.
The Commissioner adds the lists are also on display at the Election Secretariat in Rajagiriya.
