Bunkers Smashed; Dead Terrorists Recovered

WELIOYA: Alert troops in JANAKAPURA, WELIOYA were compelled to confront a gang of Tiger terrorists taking cover behind an LTTE jungle bunker between 12.00-1.00 p.m. Thursday (13) noon.
The enemy bunker was smashed and their motive was overpowered killing three terrorists on the spot. Troops collected dead bodies of the three terrorists and found two T-56 weapons, three hand grenades and two Icom Sets. Troops are clearing the spot at the time this story went to Press.
