Government grant all facilities to foreign investors -PM

Prime Minister Rathnasiri Wickremanayake assures that the government is prepared to grant all facilities to foreign companies willing to invest in the country.
He said the government is even providing tax benefits to investors who register with the Board of Investment. The Premier was addressing a Chinese delegation at Prime Minister’s Office . He said the government is implementing well planned programmes to uplift the economy which was hampered due to terrorism.
He said Sri Lankan businessmen will take part in China Mascan International Exhibition to be held in May.
The delegation told the Prime Minister that Chinese attention is directed towards new investments to strengthen the Sri Lankan economy. Accordingly, a factory to manufacture agricultural equipment will be opened.
