Havelock City” mega shopping complex will begin this year.

The investment agreements have been signed for the construction of the biggest ever shopping complex in the Colombo city. The Havelock City private limited and the Mireka Capital Land Company will invest 60 million rupees in this regard. The construction of the three store “Havelock City” mega shopping complex will begin this year. Chief operation officer of the Overseas Reality Company which heads the project Rimaz Gauz says it will also include a cinema hall and cafeterias. Space has also been given for various institutions, departments and warehouse facilities. The construction work is scheduled to be completed by the year 2010.
On behalf of the government the investment agreement was signed by Director General of the Board of Investment Dhammika Perera, while the agreement letters were handed over by Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama. End
