Japan's NTT sells Sri Lanka Telecom stake-traders

COLOMBO, April 1 (Reuters) - Japan's Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp (9432.T: Quote, Profile, Research) sold its entire stake of 35.2 percent Sri Lanka Telecom SLTL.CM shares to Malaysian mobile network operator Maxis Communications on Tuesday, traders said.
"The NTT deal was done, the trade happened in the market at the 50.50 rupees and 635 million shares were traded," said Harsha Fernando CEO at SC securities. "The NTT had sold whole stake they held in SLT to Maxis."
