Local private sector assists to bring back SL women in overseas

The private sector has expressed willingness to assist in bringing back to the island Sri Lankan women workers subjected to harassment in overseas.
The Navaloka group of companies has agreed to bear the entire expense involved in bringing back 42 Sri Lankan women subjected to harassment while working in Kuwait. Vice chairman of the group Jayantha Dharmadasa handing over the letter of agreement to minister Keheliya Rambukwella said yesterday his company has decided to engage in this connection in order to fulfil a social responsibility.
