LTTE operative killed in STF attack - Potuvil

An LTTE operative was killed yesterday (March 13) and items recover by Special Task Force (STF) personnel in general area Rottekulama, when troops confronted an LTTE movement along the Siyabalanduwa - Potuvil road, SLA reported.
According to STF sources, troops have engaged the LTTE ground movement with small arms fire at midnight on Thursday.
During subsequent search operations conducted, troops also recovered a slain LTTE body, a night vision, 2 radio communication sets, a pistol and few dry ration packets the sources said.
