A naval training school is to be established in Colombo

A naval training school is to be established in Colombo.
An agreement to this effect was signed today between the Sri Lanka Ports Authority and the Shipping Corporation at the ministry of Ports and Aviation.
Accordingly an office of the Shipping Corporation and an institute for naval training will be constructed at a land belonging to the ports authority at D.R. Wijewardena Mawatha in Colombo. At the signing of the agreement minister Chamal Rajapakse said an internationally recognised university will be brought in for preparing courses at the training school.
