No plans to suspends Bribery investigations

Minister Jeyaraj Fertnandopulle told in Parliament today that no investigation have been suspended as a result of transferring the Bribery Commissioner. Replying to a querry of an Opposition MP, he said the UNP is attempting to gain international publicity over this issue.
The Speaker added no substantial evidence has been received to appoint a parliamentary select committee on MIG transactions.
