Not to discourage the intrusion of TMVP says Weerawansa

 

General Secretary of the Desha Hithaishi Jathika Viyaparaya and Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa says all parties must act in a manner not to discourage the intrusion of TMVP or the Pillaiyan group to mainstream democratic politics.

Addressing a media briefing in Colombo today , he further said TMVP is a breakaway of LTTE , fighting against the separatist concept of Tiger Terrorists.

Mr. Weerawansa also pointed out it would be a terrible injustice perpetrated on the Tamil community, if the majority keeps away from its responsibility to retain the group within the democratic frame work.

He added the TMVP faces gravest threat amongst all political groups from the LTTE.
