SLAF raids LTTE explosive dump - Iranamadhu

SLAF fighter jets raided an LTE explosive dump this evening (March 28) in a jungle patch at Udayarkatukulama located 20km East of Iranamadhu tank, Air Force sources said.

According to Air Force Spokesperson, Wing Commander Andrew Wijesooriya the air sorties were made following precise air and ground reconnaissance information at around 4.30p.m.
"The LTTE explosive dump was totally destroyed in the air attack", Spokesperson Wijesooriya was quoted saying.
