SL's first open air zoo will open this year

The construction work of the first phase of the Sri Lanka’s first ever open air zoo is to be completed within this year. It is located at Pinnawala in Rambukkana. The government together with Sabaragamuwa provincial council will invest 100 million rupees for the construction process this year. Speaking at a media briefing held at the office of the Pinnawala zoo minister Gamini Lokuge disclosed the zoo will comprise three zones.End
