A special task force to deal with rice and paddy

A special task force has been appointed to deal with rice and paddy. President Mahinda Rajapakse is the head of the task force.
It is also comprised of ministers and secretaries of nine ministries. Secretary to the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Agrarian Services T. Abeywickrema says cabinet approval for the task force was received yesterday. The task force will look into all relevant issues including prices of paddy and rice.
