Two Lorries with bags of cement apprehended

Eighty five bages of cement transported in two lorries were apprehended by the Army in MANNAR yesterday (10) around 7.15 a.m. The Army has handed over the goods to the MANNAR Police. The bages of cement were to be transported to un-cleared areas. In TRINCOMALEE the troops recovered a number of war materials including ICOM set,Hand Grenade ,HF Antenna ,Field dressing ,LTTE caps ,Pentoch batteries and Belts .
During a search operation a claymore mine placed in SANTHIWELI, in BATTICALOA was discovered by Army troops .
A T-56 weapon and 120 T-56 ammunition were recovered by the Army in ERAVUR yesterday (10) around 8.30 a.m.
