7 LTTE corpses handed over to ICRC- Vavuniya

Security Forces in Wanni handed over 7 LTTE bodies to ICRC officials this morning (April 26), later to be delivered to the LTTE through the Omanthai Entry/Exit point.

The corpses were kept at the Vavuniya general hospital morgue after been found by security forces during clearing operations conducted in Welioya and Vavuniya yesterday.

According to security sources, 5 bodies were found ahead of LTTE defences in Welioya, while 2 others were reportedly found from the Vavuniya front.
