Air Force helicopter gun ships attack LTTE mortar position - Mannar

Sri Lanka air force sources say that LTTE mortar positions located in the North of Yodawawa area have been attacked this afternoon using Russian built MI 24 helicopter gun ships.
According to the sources the attacks have been carried out around 12.30.p.m. on information obtained through military intelligence reports. The targets have been accurately hit, the sources added citing helicopter pilots
