Army captures line of LTTE bunkers

The Army launched a fierce attack and captured a line of LTTE bunkers while at the same time inflicting heavy casualties on the terrorists in the JANAKAPURA area, WELIOYA on Thursday (03) around 11.20 in the morning.
A number of weapons and military hardware were recovered by Troops during a search operation conducted after the incident.
Meanwhile two terrorists were killed ruing a confrontation with Troops in the JANAKAPURA area, WELIOYA, on Thursday (03) . A soldier was also reported injured in a confrontation at KIRIBBANWEWA area, WELIOYA yesterday (03) around 1.45 in the afternoon.
