Dulip to fill Jeyaraj’s vacancy

Provincial Council Minister of Western Province, Dulip Wijesekera is to fill the vacancy created by the tragic death of Minister Jeyaraj Fernandopulle according to the electoral list of UPFA, reports say.
Wijesekera was placed 14th in the UPFA list of the Gampaha District, polling 48,078 preference votes at the 2004 general election.
He is currently the Minister of Co-operatives and Trade of the Western Provincial Council.
