EP polls: Govt. retracts its promise to give Helicopter to Ranil again

posted by Editor at

Govt. noted for its false promises has lived up to its reputation by retracting its promise earlier made to provide a helicopter to the Leader of Opposition , Ranil Wickremesinghe to attend the election campaign in the Eastern province.
The Ministry of Defence has cited the Iranian President’s visit as an excuse, and that the helicopter has been reserved for him.

It is a widely known fact that helicopters have been provided however to all Ministers organizing the May Day rally of the UPFA.

The Govt.’s refusal has not deterred or daunted Ranil Wickremesinghe from attending the rallies including that scheduled for Tuesday.
