Italy donates medical instruments to Matara hospital

Italian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Pio Maryani donated a stock of items worth 24 million rupees to the Accident Service of the Matara General Hospital today.

It was the Italian Ambassador who instrumental in providing an accident service to that hospital a year ago.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Maryani said 25 voluntary organizations launched 100 special projects in Sri Lanka with the assistance of the Italian government.
15 billion rupees were spent on these projects.
