JVP leader join east polls campaigning

Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna leader Somawansa Amarasinghe and several members of the party’s politburo participated in election campaigns in Ampara yesterday (April 20th) for the forthcoming eastern Provincial council elections.
The first JVP rally for the East PC polls was held in the Ampara town.
JVP Chief Secretary Tilvyn Silva as well as parliamentarians Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Vijitha Herath and Ramalingam Chandrasekaran also attended.
