JVP suspends a leading member of the party say local websites

JVP parliamentary group leader Wimal Weerawansa’s party membership had been suspended by the party Central Committee, local websites said
The Central Committee of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna that met on March 21st has decided to suspend the party membership of its Propaganda Secretary Wimal Weerawansa with immediate effect, party sources said.
