LTTE targets Civil Defense Force Route clearing patrol

Members of a Civil Defense Force(CDF) team were targeted by a LTTE terrorist Claymore mine explosion when they were on a route clearing patrol in the AREA of HALMILLEWETIYA , KEBBITHIGOLLEWA today (06) around 8.45.
Two CDF members injured in the explosion were admitted to the KEBBITHIGOLLEWA hospital .
A Special Task Force search operation in the area is in progress.
