A new trading company for wheat flour mill enter to the market next month. The Serendib wheat flour company says the particular company is expected to produce wheat to the market.

The branches of this group of company in middle east countries have already started producing wheat. The Board of Investment has given their approval for this company. The branch which was established at Colombo Port is the 7th branch outlet of this company.
Six billion rupees has been invested in this project. The company’s production capacity of wheat flour per day is one thousand metric tons. Measures have been taken to increase the production in future.
The company expects to distribute the production by the middle of the year. The sales agents have been appointed in this regard. This is another attempt to eradicate the monopoly of wheat production.
