No much film halls in Sri Lanka -says a film Director

Director of the film Prabhakaran Thushara Peiris says the shortage of film halls to screen Tamil films in Sri Lanka is a serious problem.
He said even though the film Prabhakaran has been produced in both Sinhala and Tamil only the Sinhala script could be screened.
Speaking to media today Thushara Peiris said cinema owners in the country have been reluctant to show the Tamil version in their film halls. He said the film has been shooted in areas such as Thoppigala, Poonani and Vakarai at a time the areas were involved a conflict situation.
Mr. Peiris also said that LTTE child soldiers were rehabilitated and brought into act in the film. He thanked the support even by the Army chief and the 23rd brigade with regard to the filming. He added that the film has been produced to demonstrate to cruel nature of the LTTE.
