Canadian Parliamentarian Art Hanger yesterday (April 8) presented a civic petition against LTTE terrorist activities on the Canadian soil before the House of Commons. The MP who represents Calgary Northeast, speaking on the petition said that it is on the subject of eradicating terrorism with special reference to the Sri Lankan based terrorist organization Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).
"I am honoured to present a petition submitted to this House by 1,068 Canadian residents throughout the length and breadth of this country on the subject of eradicating the scourge of international terrorism, with special reference to Sri Lanka" MP Hanger said.
He further noted that the petitioners have expressed their appreciation of the ban imposed on LTTE terrorists by Canadian government in 2006, following similar action taken by the U.S.A., India, the UK and the EU, which recognized the true nature of this terrorist outfit.
Speaking about the petitioners' main concerns, MP Hanger said, " the petitioners respectfully seek that Canada fully cooperate with the legal and democratically elected government of Sri Lanka; that it live up to its legal obligations in combating international terrorism; and take all measures to prevent the raising of funds within this jurisdiction for terrorist warfare in Sri Lanka".
"I am pleased to table this petition for the consideration and necessary action of the House", he concluded.
LTTE is a ruthless terrorist outfit fighting for a mono ethnic separate homeland for the Tamils living Sri Lanka since 1983. During its three decades terrorists campaign, over 70,000 Sri Lankan citizens have lost their lives. The outfit fund its terrorist activities mainly through their front organizations operating in developed countries including Canada. In its latest savagery, LTTE killed 14 civilians including a government minister, former national marathon champion, national athletic coach and many athletes including schoolchildren when it carried out a suicide bomb blast targeting a national sport event on last Sunday.

Though the LTTE is proscribed in Canada they are still active and several sleeper cells of theirs are operating with some registered Organizations under the names of some fame hungry seniors. The active supporters go on collecting money at any available opportunity and thay can be seen living in big houses and running in expensive cars without any paid jobs-if you don't count their 15-20% commissions of money extorted as salary. What is Canad Customs and Revenue Agency doing. Won't they inquire where all these folks got their money from. When they sell property do buy a new mansion, don't they have to pay Capital Gains Tax. They even have their operatives inside CCRA. There is one V.Sivananthan working there and givung his tiger handlers all inside information. He even gives the names and addresses of of high income Tamail Busuinesses and Professionals to these tiger operatives, so that they can go and intimidate them into paying. This guy was from Suthumalai where LTTE Supremo was hiding during the Indian Peace time.There were other tiger supporters working in Ontario Finace and now observed into CCRA. Now that a Federal Election is in the Card these people would make a big noise and even field their candidates in order to lift the proscription.

Yes this guy Visuvalingam Sivananthan works at the Canada Customs. He was/is a LTTE intelligence man trained at Nanthavanam in Vanni. Check www.tamilaffairs.com/node/1533 for his picture at LTTE camp.He lived at Suthumalai North, next to the Vinasithamby junior school, just opposite the Karawa community shanties where Prabhaharan made his hideout in the late eighties. A man working for the Helo Trust(which removes the landmines and recycle it to LTTE) living there now. Sivananthan uses the Canada Customs' computer to check Canadian Tamil's credit history and report it to TRO and other LTTE outfits. If you had a visit from these LTTE outfits recently, check your credit report to see whether anyone from Canada Customs made a recent inquiry about you even though you have not crossed the border or imported anything.

lives in Etobicoke but the house is registered in his wife's boyfriend Prabaharan(another one)'s name whose brother is the Tiger head in Germany.He is a smart Tiger operative that he does not get the Tiger publication, Ulagathamilar to his door like others, but collects the prepaid paper from Tharshanas(name changed to Alli & Thirumalai santha)-another LTTE outfit.He uses the Tiger payout to bribe his boss at Canada Customs so that they take a blind eye to his activities. As it is a goverment office he only goes to work around 10 and comes backaround 2 and then attend to his tiger duties. Would the new government of Stephen Harper take strong actions against These LTTe outfits and Operatives in Canada.

Ha ha, this guy Siva s a double agent, working for LTTE , reporting directly to Pottu and Kabil amman and also to CSIS/CSA. How.why do you thing he got the job at Canada Customs, It is the democratic and non-violent tamil parties who are being scape-goated by people like him.
