Postal vote polling cards dispatched to the attesting officers

 


Assistant election commissioners of the east say postal vote polling cards for the Eastern provincial council election will be dispatched to the attesting officers from today.
The casting of postal votes for the election takes place on the 28th and 29th of this month. Nearly 22,000 individuals have applied to cast their votes by post.
Postal votes can be cast during office hours. The distribution of official poll cards begins on Monday for the election that will be held on the 10th of next month. 1,342 candidates contest 37 positions in the election.
