Postal voting of the Eastern Provincial Council Election on 28th and 29th April

Postal voting of the Eastern Provincial Council Election will be held tomorrow and the following day.
PAFFERAL says they will mobilise 6 international representatives and 15 local representatives to monitor the postal voting of the eastern polls. Managing Director of PAFFERAL Rohana Hettiarachchi says the international monitors will focus more attention on several selected polling stations.
Another 10 international representatives will arrive in the country by the end of this month to monitor pre-election activities of the polls. The FAFFERAL will mobilise a team of international observers comprising 20 members from the 5th of May.
