Propaganda for the eastern poll intensifies.

 


Political parties and independent groups contesting the Eastern Provincial Council Election are now engaged in extensive propaganda.
Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva says election propaganda of the UPFA has commenced covering all electorates of the province.
Main rallies will be held in the coming days. He said senior members of the political parties affiliated to the UPFA are also participating in the election campaigns. The UNP plans to intensify its campaign from Monday.
The JVP stated that a main rally will be held on Sunday in Ampara.
