Ratnapura schools closed

All schools in areas affected by floods in the Ratnapura District have been closed with immediate effect according to authorities.
Meanwhile Police sources confirmed a landslide in Opanayake has disrupted the traffic on the Colombo-Badulla road. The Police have requested people to use alternative routes.
A woman was killed in a landslide in Yatiyantota a short while ago. Several others have been injured.
