SL opens secretariat on climatic changes

A secretariat on climatic changes is to be set up. Minister Partalee Champika Ranawaka says the objective is to response positively to climatic changes in the world.
Nobel price winner professor Mohan Munasinghe has been appointed as senior advisor of the secretariat. Functions of the center includes compilation of data such as rainfall and temperatures and to analyze such information according to international mathematical system and to predict on climatic patterns.
