SL Woman held for getting two boarding passes

CHENNAI: A 33-year-old Sri Lankan woman who got two boarding passes at the Chennai airport was arrested by the immigration authorities on Tuesday.
The officials also arrested another woman and a man, also Sri Lankan nationals.
The officials said Fatima Nasrina Azeez, 33, checked in two flights, one international and the other domestic.
Using her original passport, she completed the immigration formalities and obtained a boarding pass to go to Colombo. She then got another boarding pass for a Thiruvananthapuram-bound flight. She gave the international flight pass to Nagamma Muthiah, 47, having planned to take the Thiruvananthapuram flight. Perumal Sri Skandaraja who had instructed the two women how to exchange the passes was among the arrested.
