Troops further captured enemy’s territory

The security forces have consolidated power in the east of Kattankulam in Mannar.
Military spokesman Udaya Nanayakkara said the troops advanced 1,300 meters into the enemy’s territory by launching a surprised attack around 4.30 am today.
The security forces ran over an LTTE camp named Lima Base-3. Seven LTTE terrorists were killed in the attack.
