Two terrorists killed and eight injured in Mannar air strike

Air Force MI 24 helicopters engaged an LTTE mortar position on Friday (04) around 12.30 in the afternoon in the ANDANKULAM area, MANNAR. Pilots had confirmed that the target was successfully engaged.
It has now been revealed that two (02) terrorists were killed and eight were injured in the attack.
A soldier has been reported injured due to the explosion of an anti- personnel mine in the PULIYANKULAM area, MANNAR, on Friday (04) while another solder was also injured due to the explosion of an anti- personnel mine in the PARAYANAKULAM area in the afternoon around 12.15.
