Weerawansa explains

 

JVP MP Wimal Weerawansa explaining facts in parliament today said he has not done any harm to the party since he became a member of the JVP.
He said at the party’s central committee meeting held on the 21st of last month a decision has been taken to remove him from the party.
Mr. Weerawansa has been stripped off from all the posts he held in the JVP. He said members of the central committee have been barred from speaking with him.
Mr. Weerawansa said a small group of the decision making arm of the party harbour a suspicion against him. The MP questioned as to why the party is taking this type of decision satisfying the desires of various adverse forces that operate against the country.
Speaking further, he alleged a conspiracy within the party which lead by Western agents to sideline him.
