Dialog TV announces the first Twelve Winners

Twelve lucky winners walked away with fabulous prizes as Dialog TV announced the first winners of the “Little Box of Big Surprises” promotion, at an awards ceremony held at the Dialog TV Head Office, with one lucky winner walking away with a million rupees!

Dialog TV commenced the “Little Box of Big Surprises” a nationwide promotion on 01 March for the very first time since Dialog TV commenced operations last year. The promotion was carried out throughout the months of March and April. The first prize was One Million rupees while the other prizes included a 32” LCD TV, home theatre systems, Dialog Broadband connections, weekend holiday packages, CDMA phones and mobile phones. The winners were selected on a random selection basis through an automated system.

“The ‘Little Box of Big Surprises’ was a very exciting promotion for us, and today we successfully conclude the very first promotion”, said Mr. Nushad Perera, Chief Executive Officer of Dialog Television speaking on the occasion. “There was a tremendous response from customers to this promotion, which has exceeded our expectations. “Keeping with the name of the promotion, it was actually a ‘big surprise’ when Dialog TV called me and told me that I won the first prize. I am very thankful to Dialog TV for carrying out people oriented promotions of this nature” said Mr. Rohan Irugalbandara, Managing Director of Alliance Five (Pvt) Ltd, who was the winner of the Grand prize of One Million rupees. “Dialog TV offers a variety of channels, and it is great to see a lot of new local channels being incorporated into the lineup of channels,” he further added.
