The Mihin Airline recommence its operations from July.

The Mihin air service will re-start their activities from July this year. Chief executive officer of the company Savin Vas Gunwardena says the attention has been focused to buy a French air bus at a concessionary leasing basis. It is expected to re-start six journeys which were implemented earlier.
The main aim is to minimize monthly losses and to become a profitable institute by April next year. The objective is to amalgamate with the Sri Lankan airlines in order to conduct business on a commercial basis.
He added that the Mihin air services has recorded the the profit of 2.73 billion rupees in the past one year. The company has provided service to more than 200 thousand commuters. The company started services with a premium capital of 250 million rupees.
Mr. Gunawardena added that the airline has become a very profitable and popular service for both local and foreign commuters. The chief executive rejecting unjust accusations launched by certain parities against the airline has reiterated that the airline has never used Employees Provident Funds of employees for conducting of the airline.
