Special loan scheme for local footwear industry

Lanka Puthra Development bank operates a special loan to assist the local footwear industry.
The ministry of industrial development and the Sri Lanka Footwear Manufacturer’s Association contributes in this measure.
A maximum of 500,000 rupees will be granted under this loans scheme. This aim of this loan is to minimise the import of footwear and manufacture the country’s requirement locally.
