14 days old infant & 03 other flood victims rescued

An Infant around 14 days old and 03 other flood victims were salvaged in a rescue operation conducted through out the day in KALUTHARA district by the Sri Lanka Air force with a Bell 212 Helicopter yesterday (02).
The flood relief mission was conducted according to a request made by the Disaster Management Centre in the area. SL Air Force is on the alert to face any situation which could be arisen with the continuous heavy showers.
